Introduced at SIHH 2017, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar 26579CE.OO.1225CE.01 was the first watch from the brand to combine a ceramic case with a ceramic bracelet.

The genuine watch

The genuine 26579CE has a 41 mm ceramic case, 9.5 mm thick, water-resistant to 20 m. Calibre AP 5134 is self-winding and provides hours, minutes, date, day, leap year, month, week indication and moonphase. The case and bracelet are ceramic throughout.

Check on your watch

• The case and bracelet should appear in black ceramic with an octagonal bezel and eight hexagonal screws.
• The dial shows an anthracite slate grey field with white sub-dial registers.
• Look for the moonphase aperture and the date in the right sector sub-dial.
• A week ring is visible around the outer chapter ring.
