Notes on this watch
The Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea reference 116660 carries the D-Blue dial, a blue-to-black gradient that deepens toward the bottom, with green DEEPSEA lettering and a black ceramic bezel.
The genuine watch
The genuine 116660 has a 44 mm case, 17.7 mm thick, in 904L steel with a titanium caseback. A 5 mm thick sapphire crystal protects the dial. Water resistance reaches 3,900 m via the Ring Lock System and a helium escape valve on the case side. Calibre 3135 powers the genuine watch. Rolex released the D-Blue 116660 in 2014 as a tribute to James Cameron's 2012 solo dive to the Mariana Trench.
Factory notes
The r/RepTime Who Makes the Best guide (May 2026) does not rank a factory for the Sea-Dweller Deepsea. Ask us which factory version is available before you pay.
