Rolex built the Yacht-Master 40, reference 116622, on an Oystersteel case with a solid 950 platinum bezel, a combination Rolex calls Rolesium.
The genuine watch
The genuine 116622, introduced at Baselworld 2016, carries calibre 3135 with approximately 48 hours of power reserve. The 950 platinum bezel has high-polished raised numerals against a sandblasted background and rotates in both directions. Sapphire crystal with a Cyclops magnification lens covers the dial. The genuine watch is water-resistant to 100 metres.

The r/RepTime Who Makes the Best guide (May 2026) ranks VSF best at Super Rep tier for the 116622. The movement column reads a 3135 clone movement. Ask us which factory version is available before you pay.
