The genuine Submariner Date in Oystersteel, reference 126610LN, has a 41mm Oyster case and a Cerachrom bezel insert in black ceramic. The bezel rotates in one direction only and carries 60-minute graduations. A luminescent capsule marks the zero position. The dial uses a Chromalight display with hour markers in triangles, circles, and rectangles, and broad Mercedes hands. The Oyster bracelet uses an Oysterlock clasp and a Glidelock adjustment system. Rolex states the Oystersteel case is in the 904L steel family. The movement is Rolex caliber 3235 with approximately 70 hours of power reserve.
The no-date reference 124060 uses caliber 3230 with a Chronergy escapement, also with approximately 70 hours of power reserve. The Rolesor reference 126613LB-0002 has a steel and yellow gold case, a blue sunburst dial, and caliber 3235; WatchBase records it as introduced in 2020 at 41mm. The yellow gold 126618LN and 126618LB references use 18kt yellow gold cases, Cerachrom ceramic bezels in black, and caliber 3235; WatchBase records the 126618LB-0002 as introduced in 2020 at 41mm.
What the Guide Says
The r/RepTime Who Makes the Best guide (May 2026) covers the Submariner in twelve model rows. For the current steel date references (126610LN, 126610LV, 126619LB) with a 3235 clone movement, the guide ranks VSF first at NWBIG tier, Rich Free Sprung second at Super Rep, and ARF third at Super Rep. NWBIG stands for "Not Worth Buying In Gen" and is the guide's highest mark. For those same references with a 2836 Asian movement, VSF youth ranks first at Super Rep and GMF second.
For gold and two-tone Submariners with a 3235 clone, VSF ranks first at Super Rep, followed by Rich Free Sprung and ARF. For the no-date 124060 with a 3230 clone, VSF ranks first at NWBIG, C+F second at Super Rep, and 3EF third at Super Rep. An r/RepWatchForum post from February 2026 reports that Rich Factory released a Submariner with the JH3235 free-sprung movement, the type of movement listed as "Rich Free Sprung" in the guide.

What to Check in the Photos and Video
When you receive photos and a video of your watch, check these points. Check the bezel: the Cerachrom insert should be black on 126610LN and green on 126610LV and 116610LV variants. Confirm the luminescent capsule sits clearly at the zero mark. Check the dial: hour marker shapes (triangle at 12, rectangles and circles around the dial), lume application, and hand finish. On date models, check the cyclops lens over the date window; the reptime.help glossary notes that the genuine lens magnifies 2.5x. Check the rehaut, the inner ring between the dial and crystal; the glossary notes that alignment is a common tell. Check the Oysterlock clasp and bracelet end links for a tight fit.
