The Rolex Explorer super clone covers the Explorer I and Explorer II collections. The genuine Explorer 40 (reference 224270) has a 40 mm case in Oystersteel, which belongs to the 904L steel family. The dial is black with large 3, 6 and 9 Arabic numerals. The numerals and hour markers carry a luminescent material that emits a long-lasting blue glow. The bezel is smooth. The genuine 224270 uses calibre 3230 with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The bracelet is the Oyster bracelet with an Oysterlock folding clasp and an Easylink comfort extension link.

According to the r/RepTime Who Makes the Best guide (May 2026), for the Explorer I 40 mm (224270) with a 3230 clone movement, VSF is rated best at the NWBIG tier, the guide's top mark. For the Explorer II 226570 with a 3285 clone, ARF is rated best at Super Rep tier and QF is second at Super Rep. For the Explorer II 216570 with a 3187 clone, C+ is rated best. The guide notes that the 216570 version has the date window in the wrong position. The guide states it is directionally correct and recommends comparing rep to gen photos to determine which version suits you. Ask us which factory version is available before you pay.
