The Genuine References
Reference 5711/1A-010 is the Nautilus 5711 in stainless steel with a blue dial, 40 mm case, using the caliber 324 S C. WatchBase records it as produced from 2012 to 2021. Reference 5711/1A-014 is the green dial variant in stainless steel, introduced in 2021.
Reference 5712/1R-001 is the Nautilus 5712 in rose gold with a brown sunburst dial and black-gradient rim, 40 mm, 8.52 mm thick, water-resistant to 30 m. Patek Philippe describes its caliber 240 PS IRM C LU as having small seconds, date by hand, moonphase and a power-reserve indicator, with 252 parts and 29 jewels. The case back is sapphire crystal.
Reference 5811/1G-001 is the Nautilus 5811 in white gold, 41 mm, with a blue sunburst dial and a sapphire crystal case back. Patek Philippe describes the caliber 26-330 S C as running at 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour with a Gyromax balance and Spiromax spring.
Reference 7118/1A-011 is the ladies Nautilus in stainless steel, 35.2 mm, with a grey opaline dial and a sapphire crystal case back.
What the r/RepTime Guide Says
The r/RepTime Who Makes the Best guide (May 2026) covers the Nautilus across several models. For the 5711 with a 324 clone movement, DDF is best (Super Rep), BBF is second (Super Rep) and 3KF is third (Super Rep). For the 5811 blue with a 324 clone, DDF Heavy is best (Super Rep) and 3KF is second. For the 5712 Moonphase with a 240 clone, OME is best (Super Rep) and PPF v2 or ZF is second (Super Rep). For the ladies 7118 with a 324 clone, 3KF is best (Super Rep) and PPF is second.
The guide notes that the 5812 currently has no good clone available. For diamond-paved models such as the 5719, the guide lists R8F as best with a 9015 Miyota movement. An r/RepWatchForum review of November 2025 reports that the DDF 5811 case measures about 1 mm smaller than the genuine 5811 and advises waiting for a corrected version before buying. An r/RepWatchForum review of October 2025 reports that DDF has a more accurate case shape and dimension than BBF on the 5711.

What to Check in the Photos and Video
The Nautilus has a sapphire crystal case back on the 5712, 5811 and 7118 references, so the movement is visible from the back. We send photos and a video before the watch ships. Check these points.
- Case shape: the genuine Nautilus case is cushion-shaped. Check that the lug outline matches your reference.
- Dial: several Nautilus dials have horizontal embossing and a gradient rim. Check that the embossing pattern is even and the dial color matches the reference description.
- Finishing: Patek Philippe describes the Nautilus case and bracelet as combining satin-brushed and polished surfaces. Both finishes must be present and clearly distinct.
- Bracelet clasp: Patek Philippe describes the Nautilus bracelet as having a fold-over clasp with a lockable adjustment system. Check that the clasp operates correctly in the video.
